Dr. Ahmed El Houssieny is the Founder and Medical Director of Bank MediSpa, an award-winning doctor-led aesthetic clinic renowned for delivering exceptional results through medical excellence, innovation and uncompromising patient care.
A fully qualified medical doctor registered with the General Medical Council, a Trustee of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM), and a Level 7-qualified aesthetic practitioner and educator, Dr. Ahmed trained under some of the world’s leading experts in Aesthetic Medicine. After more than 17 years working as a Consultant Anaesthetist, he transitioned into aesthetic medicine, driven by a passion for helping patients look and feel their best while maintaining the highest standards of safety and clinical practice.
Today, Dr. Ahmed is recognised as one of the UK’s leading aesthetic practitioners, specialising in advanced injectable treatments, laser technologies and regenerative aesthetic medicine. His approach combines meticulous medical assessment with artistic precision, delivering natural, elegant results that enhance rather than alter. He has been recognised as a Highly Recommended Practitioner in The Tweakments Guide by respected beauty journalist Alice Hart-Davis and, in 2026, was named a Practitioner of the Year finalist by both the Aesthetic Awards and the Aesthetic Medicine Awards, a rare recognition that reflects his reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient outcomes.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Ahmed is passionate about advancing standards across the aesthetics industry. He is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Chester, a part of the Resuscitation Council’s aesthetic safety programme, a published author in leading aesthetic journals and a regular speaker at national and international conferences, where he shares his expertise on patient safety, advanced treatment techniques and complications management.
As a respected Key Opinion Leader for Allergan Aesthetics and a Level 7 aesthetics educator, Dr. Ahmed plays an active role in educating and mentoring medical professionals. He has trained both doctors, dentists and nurses in advanced injectable techniques, championing higher clinical standards across the profession.
