CoolPeel™ laser treatment from Lynton Lasers
CoolPeel™ gets its name because it does not deliver thermal damage typically associated with laser treatments; in fact, it is the only CO2 device that can deliver an ablative fractional laser treatment without causing any thermal damage to your skin health. Unlike most ablative lasers, which remove the top layer of the skin and usually entail a week or more of downtime, the CoolPeel™™ treatment has a super short pulse duration that creates a controlled injury with less heat build-up in the skin.
CoolPeel™
CoolPeel™ delivers highly effective superficial skin-resurfacing results and can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns. Patients achieve noticeable improvements, such as:
Book An Appointment (opens in new tab)- Softening fine lines
- Treating wrinkles
- Reducing the appearance of pore size
- Improving uneven skin texture & dull skin tone
- Treating sun damage and removing sunspots
- Softening acne scars

For preventative care, we recommend starting your CoolPeel™ treatment in your 20s or 30s. This will combat any early signs of skin damage and maintain collagen production. It’s also an exceptional treatment to reduce symptoms of damage that you may encounter early on, including acne scarring.
For those looking to reverse signs of ageing, CoolPeel™ is an excellent way to address damage from the age of 40 onwards.
To make the most of your treatment, we recommend the following:
– Limit sun exposure and tanning for 2 to 4 weeks before your appointment.
– Avoid using actives and exfoliants within your skincare routine up to a week before your treatment, including retinols, tretinoin, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and hydroxy acids.
– Alert your practitioner to any active infections, such as a cold sore, or if you’re taking any medication.
– Come to your clinic with a clean face.
CoolPeel™ laser typically goes 10 to 20 microns deep. This is extremely thin, for context, perhaps the thickness of a human hair or plastic wrap.
CoolPeel™ is therefore renowned for its ability to make a difference despite only reaching the skin’s superficial layer. This also means that patients can achieve visible results without experiencing potential thermal damage associated with stronger lasers.
