What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a skin rejuvenation device that can only be used by skin professionals in a medically regulated cosmetic clinic or hospital. It combines the power of radiofrequency (RF) heat technology with fractional micro needling pins (medical microneedling), within the device hand piece. RF and medical microneedling are two of the most effective techniques for revitalising and restoring ageing skin and both technologies have been used alone, for many years. However, it has been shown that utlising these methods together, offers exceptional skin tightening and resurfacing results.
The tiny micro pins in Morpheus8 encourage a healing response by temporarily damaging the skin’s layers, so that the skin produces more collagen; a vital substance in healthy skin, which depletes as we age. The RF energy reaches deep into the dermis, thus creating even more skin healing by using the power of heat stimulation to encourage collagen and elastin fibres to be produced.
